Brug Min Baghave is a network of hospitable gardens where travellers going light can borrow a patch of grass for the night.
It started in May 2019, and it's completely free to take part.
It's built on trust, kindness and warmth.
The only thing you, as a guest, can expect is a patch of grass. Everything else is a bonus.
You need to enjoy travelling light.
The stay must be 100% free. A symbolic amount for a shower or firewood is okay.
Brug Min Baghave is outdoor accommodation only.
As a traveller you cannot expect any facilities, such as a toilet.
Talk to the garden owner about what options are available. Nearest church, petrol station, etc.
The only thing you as a guest leave behind is your smile and a footprint. Always contact the garden owner before pitching your tent. It's private land you're borrowing.
It's up to each garden owner who, what and when the garden is open to guests. There can be many reasons for their choice. They may have guests of their own.
It must always be respected, respectfully.
